Our Sustainability Commitment
Founded in 2000, Fuxiang leads globally in R&D and manufacturing of core footwear components. Sustainability is integral to everything we do—from material selection to manufacturing. We innovate constantly to reduce our carbon footprint and build a greener future across our value chain.
How We Deliver
Five Pillars of Sustainable Innovation
Bio-based Sugarcane Polymer
Our insoles and midsoles use 35%–50% sugarcane-based bio-materials, balancing environmental responsibility with performance. The material is sourced from Brazilian sugarcane grown on degraded lands and produced using renewable energy, supporting carbon capture in the soil and contributing to a reduced carbon footprint.
Sustainably Sourced Propanediol
We blend 50% Susterra® bio-propanediol, a plant-based alternative derived from industrial corn, into our PU formulations. Susterra® bio-propanediol can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 48% (cradle to gate) while enhancing flexibility, durability, adhesion, and overall comfort.
Green Manufacturing Processes
Our manufacturing operations prioritize environmental responsibility by applying low-VOC adhesives and implementing waste reduction initiatives. These measures support sustainable production practices that reduce ecological impact while consistently maintaining product quality.
Localized Production for Reduced Footprint
With eight strategically located factories in China, Vietnam, and Indonesia—situated close to key Tier 1 partners—our “local production, local supply” approach reduces logistics distances and associated carbon emissions. This agility enables footwear brands to respond quickly to market demands while lowering their environmental footprint.
